She runs WebCami LLC, creating custom websites for small businesses and nonprofits from her home office in Seattle, WA. Cami also founded WebCami Cafe, a Facebook group for web designers, and writes the weekly HabitsWP newsletter, sharing tips to help designers build better business habits. She’s passionate about helping web designers sharpen their skills and grow successful and manageable businesses. What is your mantra? Build with purpose, connect with kindness, and keep learning along the way! Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier. My top go-to web design and management tools include ManageWP for effortless website care plan maintenance, Beaver Builder for creating custom WordPress sites that clients can easily update, Google Workspace for streamlined email, file storage, and collaboration, and Notion for organizing ideas. What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours? Iced almond milk lattes. What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours? Lately, it's Topo Chico, but for a special occasion, I love a nice glass of wine, champagne, or a vodka soda. Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self? If I could give my younger self advice, it would be this: the only thing holding you back is the story you’re telling yourself. And remember, being kind matters more than being important. Focus on growth over status, and reframe the mindset that’s keeping you from moving forward.
