Jocelyn Hendrickson is the Senior Product Manager of WordPress Commerce at Bluehost, with over 15 years of experience in the internet and technology sectors. Known for her exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to bridge the gap between user needs and technical concepts, she has led many transformative projects. Her commitment to psychological safety, vulnerability, and compassion fosters a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. As a mentor for "In the Lab Product Management," Jocelyn supports career changers and underrepresented groups in tech, empowering them to reach their full potential.

What is your mantra?

Embrace curiosity, fuel creativity, design with intention, and create with purpose. Find strength in imperfections, and nurture the ignored or overlooked for innovative breakthroughs.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

Procreate is my go-to for digital art decompression time. I use MEATER 2 every time I throw meat on the smoker - it's life changing. For color palettes, coolors.co is a lifesaver. Nothing beats cranking up speakers with some good bass for an impromptu dance party to shake off the ick of the day.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Coffee or a dirty vanilla chai tea

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

Sparkling water, cider, or a Tito's and soda

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

Be yourself, boldly—don't hold back.
Embrace your quirks—they are what make you unique and talented.
