WP Wonder Women Newsletter, Vol 1, Issue 38

Welcome to the only newsletter in WordPress by women, for women, and about women.

The women of WordPress have been up to some amazing things this week!

This Issue's Wonder Woman: Hadas Golzaker

Hadas Golzaker is a brand marketing designer and strategist who asks the uncomfortable questions your brand needs to hear. She's got a talent for turning "we don't know what we're doing" into "holy shit, this makes sense." She starts with your story first, then designs the identity that actually fits it. Her secret sauce? Strategic frameworks mixed with creative design that doesn't suck. Basically, a brand therapist with zero tolerance for BS.

What is your mantra?

If you do not try, it means that you will 100% not get it. So why not make it to 50% yes? (I'm saying it every time I'm afraid to do something because I might fail. But if I do not try, that means that I will fail for sure. So why not raise my odds to at least 50%?)

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

  • Grammarly and Claude to check my English (Not a native English speaker)
  • Voice messages on Slack to pass my message (and tone) easily. When your team is distributed, sometimes it is hard to give feedback on something using only text.
  • Spotify - life is better with music in the background :)

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Espresso and water. I stoped drinking other stuff 4 years ago. (except alcohol of course :) )

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

Usually wine. But also Beer, Campari, Whiskey...

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

You are on the right track. It will all make sense at the end. Don't worry.
