Welcome to the only newsletter in WordPress by women, for women, and about women. The women of WordPress have been up to some amazing things this week! This Issue's Wonder Woman: Lumi CiobanuI'm Lumi, an accessibility-focused web designer and creative developer, based in Bucharest. I help nonprofits, education organisations and agencies create inclusive websites. I've been working with WordPress for 9 years, mostly as a freelancer, and I've been actively involved in the WordPress Community as a volunteer or organiser for local meetups and WordCamps. Before working with WordPress, I was a professional musician (pianist and musicologist) and I still enjoy playing the piano and sight-reading music. I am a proud mom of a young adult daughter (now an Archaeology student), a happy wife, and also a mom to a cat and a dog. What is your mantra? Keep going and focus. Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.
What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours? Ginger tea What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours? Ginger shot or Aperol Spritz for special occasions Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?
