The women of WordPress have been up to some amazing things this week!

This Issue's Wonder Woman: Astha Jain

Astha is an Advocate from India exploring the crossroads of law, tech, and policy. A WordPress blogger since 2016, she’s been an active community member since 2023. From organizing WordCamp Bhopal & do_action to volunteering at WCAsia & leading EmpowerWP Bhopal 2025, she’s come a long way. A curious learner and Sherlock Holmes fan, she’s passionate about giving back and bridging the worlds of law and tech. She's here for the inclusive spirit of WP Community, absolutely adore!

What is your mantra?

I practice gratefulness—for everything I have. The people, the privilege, the thought, the journey—all of it. Even on tough days, this mindset reminds me there's always something to be thankful for.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

1. WordPress + Gutenberg
2. Microsoft Word
3. Google Keep
4. YouTube Music & Sudoku App

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Chai by default. Mocha lately. Infused water always on the side—lemon, mint, curry leaves. Forever experimenting.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

I’m a citrus baby — anything with a hint of lemon or orange makes the cut. Be it fresh fruit juice or simple lemon water, that tangy kick is my kind of unwinding.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

1. You’ll meet wonderful people; those you admire will become your friends. Don’t worry if it doesn’t seem to be a reality yet.
2. There’ll be rough patches, but you’ll be proud of who you become, and you WILL make a difference wherever you go.
3. Your emotions aren’t a flaw—they’re your strength.
