WP Wonder Women Newsletter, Vol 1, Issue 22

Welcome to the only newsletter in WordPress by women, for women, and about women.

The women of WordPress have been up to some amazing things this week!

This Issue's Wonder Woman: Chandni Ssirohi

Chandni loves building meaningful relationships and connecting with people. With over a decade of experience in customer relationship management across media, aviation, and tech, she understands how overwhelming it can be to venture into technology. Starting her career in a non-tech space, she appreciates the journey it takes to navigate into the tech world and now thrives on helping others through that process. Currently, she works with LearnDash as a Customer Success Manager and loves it! Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

P.S. She is also a serial dance ninja and an animal hugger (if those are real things).

What is your mantra?

I have many mantras I live by:

  • Be persistent.
  • It’s okay to fail, learn from it and try again. If you fail again, no problem—just keep trying until you get it!
  • Dream big; if you can see it in your mind, you can make it happen.
  • It’s a tough one, but love yourself as you would love someone you cherish.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

I have a few tech tools that really help me out! I use ChatGPT for brainstorming and streamlining my responses, Google Docs to jot down thoughts and collaborate with my team, Text Expander for quick snippets, and Google Meet for all my meetings. They make my work life so much smoother!

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Black coffee with stevia and a bottle of water.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

I enjoy a lot of adrak chai (ginger tea) in the evenings after work. On weekends, I like to relax with some rum and coke, and some mulled wine during winters.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

I’d tell my younger self that it’s okay to fail. We all make mistakes, and it’s not the end of the world. Always stand by what you believe in and don’t be afraid to share your ideas. Be kind and keep learning.
