WP Wonder Women Newsletter, Vol 1, Issue 17

Welcome to the only newsletter in WordPress by women, for women, and about women.

The women of WordPress have been up to some amazing things this week!

This Issue's Wonder Woman: Jyolsna JE

Jyolsna is an Operations Manager who stumbled upon WordPress in 2020 and hasn't left its side since. She curates The WP Week newsletter, tends WPTavern, and helps organize WP Kerala WordCamp. She also contributes to Core, Docs and Translation teams.

What is your mantra?

I've got several:
"With God, all things are possible." - for when I'm overwhelmed.
"It unscrews the other way." - for when I'm at my wit's end.
"Even the darkest night will end, and the sun will rise." for when I'm down.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Masala tea once a day and then hot water.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

Lime tea 'til recently. Now I alternate it with black coffee.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

You will find your tribe who will accept you as you are. They will drive you to greater heights and will be as crazy as you.
